Akram El Sharkawy

Akram started his musical career by doing jazz covers. His first musical performances were at The Citadel Festival in 1997/ 98. He formed his first band "Steps" in 1999, and left later to form his latest band "Akram El Sharkawy Band". The music is Oriental & Contemporary Jazz, which comprises only originals and is distributed by Akram himself. They performed in famous venues like Cairo Opera House and the Culture Wheel.
