One more time, thousands of SOSers were united by the best underground music around! This time, the scope of the SOS Music Festival expanded from the local scene to the Arab one, as Ruba Saqr, a world music Jordanian artist enchanted the crowd with her powerful voice and music.
Review:
The crowd was entertained by a surprise performance by top local band Nagham Masry, who played a full concert to thousands of their fans in the beginning of the festival. The rest of the day was full of young talents of different backgrounds, playing different musical genres that impressed the crowd with its diversity.
From the metal bands Wyvern and Mascara, to the Egyptian contemporary music bands Guemeza and Limouzine to the exceptional project Voices from the Sand, a musical project by the American producer Darryl John Kennedy, who brought together different Egyptian singers with different musical styles, there was something for everyone!
