Wyvern

The band was formed in November 2003 as a 4 piece heavy metal band to cover the songs of heavy/thrash metal legends. In a society that doesn't accept new forms of music, especially the rock/metal genre it was really difficult for wyvern to get the exposure needed to present their music.

The band started writing songs-influenced mainly by the old school heavy genre-in 2004. The songs discuss important subjects such as using sexual innuendos and acts to promote what are so called music artists.

In 2006 Wyvern performed at the Sawy culture wheel and that was the first time a heavy/thrash metal band to perform in the Sawy culture wheel, which is considered as a huge step to support this form of underground music. Now the band is moving on to a more professional level, a 5th member joined the band in September 2006, to be the front man of the band.
